Dice Roll System for Battles

I have very mixed feelings about using this. For those you don't know, a dice roll system is something provided by the forum and it can be used to determine if an attack hits/misses through the roll of a dice. Its not an actual dice but actually a program on the forum.

The reason I have mixed about this is that they have a tendency to reduce the creativity in any battle roleplaying and they can be a nuisance.

I might try to test it for a couple days to see how things go. What does everyone else think?

It would be worth a try and see how it goes but with my luck I'd get all misses but would be fun to test it out.

hmm.. i did that once and it wasn't as much fun, the dice are impartial... but they do keep people from being invisible.. in my opinion i would prefer to not have that though and just judge whether the attack is hit or miss logically

I don't think I'm going to do it. I don't like the idea of being tied to a dice roll; it kind of defeats the purpose of rping.

The only time dice are meant to be used in any thing that's related to roleplaying is some thing like D&D, or any board/card games like that. The thing about roleplaying is its your character abilities. The dice, they don't carry the outcome the abilities has, and for ever one its different how attacks effect based off element, or some thing like that.
